STAGECOACH Rally -Camplife

Stagecoach Trails

Location, location, location!

One of the biggest surprises to attendees of the Inaugural STAGECOACH Classic Motorcycle Rally was the beautiful location. While technically in the town limits of Julian, the rally takes place on the east side of the mountain village of Shelter Valley. Now known as County Highway S-2, this desert road began its’ history back in the 1700’s by the Spaniards before serving as a mail and stage route and earning the title of The Great Southern Overland Stage Route of 1849. Paved in 1929, the route now takes you to some of the most beautiful riding roads in Southern California.

Camping, RV’s, cabins

Along this old desert highway is the Stage Coach Trails Resort, home to the STAGECAOCH Rally. This family owned and operated campground features accommodations for everyone. From tent and RV camping to cabins small and large, this is where your rally experience begins! Full hookups at every site and clean, spacious facilities make this the most comfortable spot in the desert, especially after a day of riding! The attentive campground staff keep the grounds spotless and Stagecoach Trails even has a fully stocked general store with groceries, camping goods, a full deli and even hand-scooped ice cream!

Law Tigers Ponderosa Camp

New to the 2023 rally is The Law Tigers Ponderosa Camp, an exclusive group camping area just for STAGECOACH Rally attendees. In this group area right next to the CBS Pavilion, you can set up your tent or RV in your own spot or in the open-tent area amongst other rally’ers. Enjoy your own fire pit and Santa Maria-style grill…PLUS, you’ll get a limited edition Rally Pint Glass! Space is limited. Available only with a PonderosaPass!
